If you are a full figure woman, with large breasts, swimwear choices can be baffling! While the general move to sewn-in bra cup bust support, away from just a shelf bra, (the speed bump look for us full busted ladies), is nice. Still, it does not supply much support for your breasts if you need D cup or larger swimwear.

DD Swimwear Designed for Full Figure Women

Just My Size has a nice selection of D, DD and underwire swimwear in one piece bathing suits and D cup tankini tops. Some are part of their contouring TrimShaper swimwear line, like this removable strap DD swimdress below. Many are underwire styles that come in D and DD versions, like this mock underwire tankini.

Should you want swimwear in cup sizes C, D, E and F AlwaysForMe.com has created a small line of these in true full figure women's sizes 16W to 26W. Always for Me used to just sell plus size swimwear. A few years ago they started creating their own swimwear lines based on customer feedback and research.

2/2012: Always for Me 2011 cup size swimwear styles are all on sale! The black with princess seamed, with accents, swimsuits that give you soft cup bra on a shelf bra bust support. Sometimes Always for Me swimwear styles get rave reviews from women who wear larger cup sizes. I find their Valencia mini swimdress has great reviews from women who wear bra sizes 38DD, 36GG, 40G, and F cup sizes.

I can not say I am against shelf bras in swimsuits, as I just ordered a Speedo, which I believed would have shelf bra bust support. What I learned is that some Speedo styles have bust support, some do not. Granted I wanted it, because of its full cleavage and center back coverage...I need much less sun there. That is why it is important to order your swimwear from reputable sellers, with good return policies. They try new designs, and so do we. If it does not work, you can always send it back!

These suits above should minimize your waist and all but the tankini provide you tummy tamer. Time, and reviews will tell how well these swimsuits will work for full figure women.

Cup Size Swimwear

Anita Swimwear comes in both bra and swimwear with cup sizes. Their swimwear is recommended by Bigger Bras and Her Room for full figure women and carried in more than those stores!

Large Cup Size Swimwear for Full Figure Women

You other choice is large cup, bra sized swimwear. Pricey? You bet! Will if fit your fuller waist and hips, should you have those? I can tell you, and Bigger Bras also recommends Fantasie Swimwear for full figure women. I wear their Fiji, but would have done better with their Bahamas, adjustable leg, one piece bathing suits. I often wear their Moresco underwire tankini top. You can click on the Fantasie suit to your right.

Her Room actually has both Freya and Panache swimwear displayed when you select plus size swimwear their. Freya and Panache are, like Fantasie, both bra sized.

Most Freya styles I am aware of stop at band size 38, a few come in band size 40.

If you need cup sizes J and K, Panache swimwear would be worth looking into.
