You can read the reviews at ShoeBuy to find out if these footwear styles work to tone your legs and such, as advertised. I recommend them for their durability, (Mine lasted a year and a half of day and night wear!), price and comfort! These exercising sandals are sold as leg strengtheners and posture improving women's fitness shoes. But the women who review them say they wear them because these sandals make them feel great! Lets face it, you are more likely to feel like exercising, and definitely walking, when you feel good. Especially when your legs, back and feet feel great!
The fitflop does not have the extreme sole shape of high sport mbt footwear. So there is little to no getting use to it period. Though these sandals do come with a caution tag. It says they have been know to increase muscle activity. So they makers of Fitflops recommend wearing them progressively so as to avoid excessive muscle soreness. I got mine this week and I just took up and kept wearing my fitflops all the time. My feet love them and I have no muscle soreness. But then I wear the high sport mbt sneakers when I go out. And wearing them does my feet or muscles no undue strain now either. The newly buffed for spring bottom of my feet love the feel of this sandals' foot-bed! 3/20/08 |
